Summary:

Is Dylan hunting Casey to prosecute her or protect her?

Casey Cox is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts—her most relentless pursuer—is still on her trail, but his secret emails insist that he knows the truth and wants to help her. He’s let her escape before when he had her in his grasp, but trust doesn’t come easily.

As Casey works to collect evidence about the real murderers, she stumbles on another unbearable injustice: an abused child and a suicidal man who’s also been falsely accused. Casey risks her own safety to right this wrong and protect the little girl from her tormenters. But doing so is risky and just may result in her capture—and if she’s captured, she has no doubt she’ll be murdered before she ever steps foot in a jail.

In this riveting sequel to the USA Today bestseller If I Run, evil lurks, drawing Casey out of the shadows . . . but there is light shining in the darkness. Is Dylan a provision from the God who loves her, or another heartache yet to happen?

Debbie Krenzer gave “If I’m Found” 4 out of 5 stars.

This is the second book in the Casey Cox "If I Run" series and I really like this series. However, I am not liking the fact that this poor girl has been running for two books now. Can somebody please give this girl a break? Ha! JK Actually, I would really like to see that Keegan guy get his just desserts - what an A$$.

This was definitely a suspenseful book. There were plenty of hold your breath moments going on. Car chases, jumping out windows to escape, child abuse, drug dealers with guns, cars being run off the road, innocents being brought in for questioning, disguises, changing hotels nightly - sometimes twice a night, etc. I mean we are talking some serious action going on in this book. The only thing I didn't like - there's a book 3. Casey is still on the run. However, if the author keeps the suspense and the drama going like she has - it will be worth the wait!

This book is part of a series and while I never read book one, it really didn’t hinder too much as I dove into this one.

This is the first time I’ve read this author and she’s very good at the intrigue and suspense. The pace of the story was very fast and for me there was never a dull moment. There is always something happening and plenty of twists to keep you wondering what was going to happen next.

I loved the character of Dylan. He is caring and understanding. His belief in Casey was refreshing as well as his belief in God.

Casey was a kind and compassionate woman who believed fiercely in caring for others. She was strong and intuitive and I can see where her and Dylan would make the perfect couple. Hint Hint

This book had a few surprises in it that kept me intrigued throughout the whole story. This is one author that I will definitely read again. Plenty of detail, suspense, and interesting turn of events made this a wonderful read. The bad news is we have to wait for book three for a complete conclusion!

This book was AMAZING!!! Terri Blackstock did a great job! I love the budding romance between Casey and Dylan. I was feeling very emotional when I finished If I'm Found because I was wanting more. This is one of the reason why I don't like series because I have to wait and I don't like to wait haha. I am REALLY looking forward to the finale, which I am sure will be.....amazing again!

I highly recommend If I'm found to anyone who like thriller/suspense! You can read this as a stand alone but you would understand this sequel a lot better if you read the first one. :)

I absolutely loved the first installment in this series when it released last year, and I have been eagerly anticipating this second book!

I will admit that it did take me a while to get into this book, as it kind of felt like it was moving a tad slowly, but once I hit the halfway mark the pace just took off and I hated to set it down from that point on! This was such a great sequel, I never knew what would happen next. I loved the development of the characters, as well as the advancement of the storyline from the first book. I always love it when I learn things from books and I was thrilled to learn several new things about prayer, as well as intentional gratitude from this book, those parts of the book really touched my heart and I know for a fact that I will most definitely be turning to those sections on the days when I need a burst of perspective and inspiration!

While I think the first book in the series is probably my favorite so far, this one is so good too, I became totally emotionally invested and hated to see it end! And yes, in case you were wondering, it does end on a cliffhanger much like the first book, which made me all the more eager to read the third book, but if you don't like cliffhangers you may want to wait until the third book releases next year so that you can read them back to back!

Overall, this is a wonderful second book in the If I Run series, which I highly recommend, it is a must read for fans of Christian suspense. I would definitely suggest reading this series in order.

I can't wait for the release of the next book! Dana Michael

Once again I was left with my heart in my throat, and the wanting for justice to take place immediately, but alas it and life really don’t happen that way. This is the second book in this series, and yes the first is as good as the second, and now I anticipate the third, however they can stand alone, but you will want to know what our girl with the big heart did in the previous book.

Can you imagine looking at the face of evil and yet these are the people that you are supposed to rely on when there is trouble, members of law enforcement. Makes me so sad that the people you are supposed to trust are so untrustworthy, and I do realize that these are the rare few, but does one apple spoil the bushel, lets sure hope no. All the while I was reading this, I kept wanting justice for all, and yet for some it does come to late, how very sad.

I am really pulled into this story, and highly recommend the first two books in this series, you won’t be disappointed, and you will be waiting for book three along with me. I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Zondervan and was not required to give a positive review.

I own a good many of Terri Blackstock's books and they are very, very good. She has a way with words and draws the reader in with those words. Her suspense is wonderfully done and captivating to the attention of her readers. I don't think anyone who has ever read one of her books would not pick up another one. She's that good. The reader gets caught up and doesn't want to put her books down. This book was tremendous! It's just constant suspense and tension. I do, however, hate the cliffhanger. But then, there is anticipation for the next book. This series is awesome.

I would recommend her without hesitation.

Terri Blackstock has really ramped up the suspense in her If I Run series. Accused killer, Casey Cox, is on the run from law enforcement, staying one step ahead of the corrupt cops who killed her best friend and framed her for the deed. PI Dylan Roberts has been hired to find Casey and bring justice for the man she supposedly killed. The question is, if Dylan turns Casey in, will justice be served?

At the end of book 1, If I Run, Dylan has Casey within his grasp. The only reason she eludes police capture is that Dylan lets her go. In the course of his investigation he had begun to realize that the police version of his friend’s death does not jibe with what he knows of Casey. In book 2 he still has the police convinced that he’s working to bring her in, but is he?

As Casey continues to build a case against the two detectives that she believes killed her father and framed her for the murder of her best friend, she stumbles onto another case that has the potential to see her captured. Opening a Bible she finds in her motel room, she discovers – not a Gideon Bible – a personal Bible with a suicide note tucked inside. Concerned, she searches for the owner and is relieved to find he is still living. Accused of a heinous crime against a little girl, Cole Whittington is having trouble dragging himself out of the depths of depression. Casey convinces him not to do that to his own children and is later hired for a temporary job in his company. In her free time, she investigates Cole’s accusers. Can she find proof of his innocence and keep herself off the radar of the local police?

If I’m Found careens from one terrifying situation to the next with very little breathing room in between! I’m never quite sure if Casey has a death wish of her own or if her sense of injustice compels her to put herself on the line repeatedly. Her heroics border on crazy chancy most of the time but she gets away with most of them. This was a very fast read – I read it in under a day! Terri Blackstock has definitely whetted my appetite for book 3. I can’t wait to see how, or if, Casey and Dylan prove their case!
